Koh Lanta is a delightfully exotic island known for its remote location, pristine beaches, and pleasant weather. It’s famous for coral-fringed beaches, mangroves, limestone outcrops, and rainforests. The extended area is an archipelago in the southern region of Thailand’s Krabi Province. Koh Lanta is known as “Chill Island”.

Experience meditation, yoga, & fitness classes in the open-air lofted yoga shala to the songs of happy tropical birds. Stroll down the beach at sunset, swim in the ocean at dawn, relax by the pool with a good book, or scheme and dream from a hammock in the garden.

Get ready to feel great in your own skin for a week! Savor the sweet flavors of sweet mangos and tiny Thai bananas. Feel vitality grow in your body as you eat clean, Thai inspired cuisine, and allow the humidity of the tropics soak into your muscles.

Return home to, energized and present. The daily retreat schedule includes yoga classes suitable for all levels, spectacular walks, and light fitness classes to reignite or up-level your strength and flexibility. Motivational coaching discussions, Thai cooking classes, and nutrition education will be woven throughout the week as well.

Optimal health starts with a healthy gut. We prepare meals, smoothies, and snacks that use nutritious, whole food ingredients. Our food is colorful, fun, and authentically Thai.

Wild View Retreat Accommodations & Pricing

Our Thailand retreat center is located about 100 meters from an expansive beach with a swimmable ocean. There is an on-site restaurant and bar that serves healthy Thai and California style cuisine and cocktails. Retreat meals will be held in an outdoor patio. There is a lofted yoga shala at the back of the property.

Bungalows are situated around the restaurant and the turquoise tiled swimming pool, with lounge and garden areas scattered throughout.

**Costs are all-inclusive for 7 days & 7 nights including accommodations, meals, fitness & yoga classes, group coaching, a Thai cooking class, a snorkeling excursion & a National Park tour!**

Island Snorkeling and Speedboat Tour

This is a full day trip. Grab your swimsuit, hit the ocean, and explore a group of nearby islands. Feel fresh ocean air and snorkel around beautiful coral reefs. Enjoy a to-go lunch and plenty of snacks.

Thai Cooking Class

Open up your senses. Learn about Thai ingredients, flavor combinations, and how to make tasty traditional Thai dishes and cocktails from a local chef. Then, indulge in your own creations for lunch.

Jungle National Park Walking Tour

Take a shuttle to the south of the island and enter the national park. With a local guide, learn about tropical plants and see monkeys, lizards, and birds. Relax on a beautiful secluded beach with a to-go lunch and take a dip in the ocean to cool down.

You’ll have time to enjoy the local area…

Soak up sun on the beach. Swim, wade, or float in the warm ocean waters. Meditate on abundant beauty while talking long walks in the sand.

Walk down the main road of the island and find food kiosks where you can select your favorite made-to-order fresh fruit smoothie. Slurp coconut water from a fresh young coconut and delight in traditional Thai cuisine. Shop for colorful Thai clothing or handmade silver jewelry. Get one (or many!) affordable Thai massages at a local parlor.

Feel the warm welcome by locals and pick up a few words in Thai to say hello and express thanks!

A $1400 deposit will be required to confirm your spot.
This allows us to reserve the facility and make travel arrangements for the Retreat Team.
The balance will be due on June 1st. We will remind you! This will allow us to make our final financial obligation to the retreat facility.
If you do not pay your balance by June 1st, we will fill your spot and your deposit will not be refunded.
-If you cancel anytime before August 1st, you will receive a 100% refund IF we are able to fill your spot.

This cancellation policy has been designed to balance our desire to give you flexibility and accommodate the situations that come up in life with our need to meet the financial obligations we have committed to in order to pull this thing off!

If you have never done yoga or have a limited fitness level- no worries! All classes will be inclusive, progressive, and designed to meet you where you’re at regardless of your fitness level or experience.  The majority of us lead busy lives and will not be showing up as super bendy yogis or fitness fanatics. We won’t be doing anything you can’t give a go. The classes will be fun and motivating. Our main advice is to try everything and don’t compare your chapter 1 with someone else’s chapter 10. You will feel so GOOD at the end of the week if you try all the things!

Meet Your Cadence Coaching Retreat Team

Jen Verharen

Jen is a certified Health and Wellness Coach, Transformational Life Coach & trained mediator. She is a USDF Certified Instructor, USDF Silver Medalist & “L” Judges Program Graduate with Distinction. She has a BA in Organizational Psychology & Mental Health and has done graduate work in clinical psychology. More importantly, though, she has spent thousands of hours coaching; witnessing breakdowns, facilitating breakthroughs, and celebrating wins. She brings a powerful belief in the strength of the human spirit to her work and possesses the unique ability to be present for the struggle while also holding a larger vision for her clients than they may be able to hold for themselves.  She partners with professional and amateur equestrians, leaders, and organizations to create clarity, cultivate courage and help them get out in front of whatever is in their way. She gets results. And now she is a retreat facilitator too!

Eliza Sydnor Romm

Eliza Sydnor Romm epitomizes a classically trained dressage rider, trainer and instructor. She is a successful competitor, a sought-after clinician, and has competed successfully through the Grand Prix on horses she has trained herself. She has had wonderful opportunities to learn from a few schoolmasters, but finds the greatest pleasure in training her own horses and developing those special relationships over time. Eliza has lead programs for The Dressage Foundation, trained in Germany with Oliver Oelrich, and is the youngest trainer to receive USDF Instructor’s certification through fourth level. She has a strong belief in giving back to the dressage community. She serves on the board of The Dressage Foundation and has previously been chair of multiple committees for NCDCTA. She frequently writes articles for Dressage Today and The USDF Connection. She loves mentoring other trainers and people who are fascinated by dressage. She now also brings her skills as an ace organizer and natural leader to the retreat experience!

Nikki Vaughan-Kirchhauser

As a professional event rider and Certified Athletic Trainer, Nikki gets to combine her two greatest passions, working with riders both in and out of the saddle. Focusing on functional movement and mobility, she helps riders gain confidence and optimize their riding performance. Nikki’s innovative and fun workouts challenge riders’ strength and stamina while improving balance, suppleness, and rider-specific coordination. She is a personal athletic trainer to professional and amateur riders in the Dressage, Eventing, and Hunter Jumper disciplines. She is also and Intermediate Level Event Rider and Trainer. Nikki is an Orthopedic Rehab Exercise Specialist and is ACSM, ACE, and Pilates Certified.
